Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data StealthProxy collects, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it. Last updated: June 2026.
Who we are and what this covers
Who we are
StealthProxy ("we", "us") operates the proxy service available at stealthproxy.io. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. This policy applies to our website, dashboard, and the proxy service itself.
What this policy covers
It covers the limited personal data tied to your account and billing, the minimal technical logs we keep to run the service, and the cookies our site uses. It does not — and by design cannot — describe the contents of your proxy traffic, because we do not record it.
What data we collect
Account data
When you register we store your email address and a hashed password. We never store passwords in plain text. Your email is used to identify your account, send essential service and security messages, and provide support.
Billing data
Payments are handled by third-party payment processors. We receive only the limited billing records we need to maintain your subscription and meet accounting and tax obligations (for example an invoice reference and plan status). We do not store full card numbers on our systems.
Minimal technical logs
To operate and secure the service we keep minimal technical logs — such as authentication events, session and lane assignment metadata, and aggregate counters used for abuse prevention and capacity planning. These logs are kept small and are not used to profile you.
What we do NOT log
We do not log the content of your proxy traffic — not the destinations you visit, the pages you load, or the payloads you transfer through your lanes. Stealth is the product; recording your activity would defeat it.
Purposes and legal bases
Why we process data
We process the data above to: create and maintain your account; provision and run your proxy lanes; take payment and keep billing records; secure the service and prevent abuse; provide support; and comply with legal obligations.
GDPR legal bases
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (running the service you signed up for); our legitimate interests (security, abuse prevention, keeping the service reliable); and legal obligation (accounting and tax records). Essential cookies rely on legitimate interest; any non-essential processing would rely on your consent.
Cookies we use
Essential and session cookies
Our site and dashboard use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to maintain your session and basic preferences. These are required for the service to function. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles of you.
Who we share data with
Processors only — no sale
We share personal data only with the processors we rely on to run the service, such as our payment processors and infrastructure providers, and only to the extent they need it to perform their function. We do not sell your personal data and do not share it for third-party advertising. We may disclose data where required by valid legal process.
Retention and your rights
Retention
We keep account and billing data for as long as your account is active and afterwards only as long as needed for legitimate business and legal purposes (for example statutory accounting periods). Minimal technical logs are kept for a short, operationally necessary period and then deleted or aggregated.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you can request access to your data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, restriction or objection to certain processing, and portability of data you provided. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
Security
We protect your data with hashed passwords, encrypted transport, access controls, and a deliberately small data footprint. No system is perfectly secure, but holding less data is our first line of defence.
Contact
For any privacy request or question, contact us through in-app support from your StealthProxy dashboard and reference the account email on file.
